Since 2010, Tapestry has supported Owners of significant wealth in stewarding the creation and oversight of some of the world's most complex and iconic tangible assets on both land and sea.
Operating outside of transactional incentives, we serve as independent advocates for the Owner, testing assumptions, surfacing risks, and articulating trade-offs, so they can make informed decisions without feeling pressure to demonstrate expertise or move toward a predetermined outcome.
We create a confidential, judgment-free environment where Owners can explore the full range of questions associated with owning and operating a complex asset—across culture, lifestyle alignment, operations, finance, tax, insurance, and liability.
Prior to acquisition, during changes in scale, or when reshaping an existing program, we clarify the Owner's objectives early to prevent misalignment later, ensuring they are fully informed before committing capital, or incurring unnecessary complexity, or consequence.
This foundation allows our Owner Representation to operate from a position of strength, protecting the Owner's capital, time, and attention so they remain focused on the realization of their invested Enjoyment Capital© over the life of the asset.
We focus on identifying and addressing inflection points in refits or new-builds where programs most often fail at the margins. We work hard to avoid small misalignments, late decisions, and fragmented oversight long before issues surface or become irreversible.
Our only incentive is to get it right. We work in parallel with brokers or shipyards to develop a deep understanding of the Owner, their family, lifestyle, trusted partners, and broader asset portfolio. This context meaningfully informs the purchase, design & build, or divestiture of truly exceptional yachts.
Our Seven-Phased Project Method deliberately builds on our sequential learning, allowing assumptions to be tested and direction to mature. This balance of flexibility and continuity provides the right conditions to facilitate a set of execution points towards a successful outcome.
Anne Lyons is a senior authority in the stewardship of complex lifestyle assets. Prior to founding Tapestry, Anne represented the global personal asset portfolio of Paul G. Allen at Vulcan Inc., overseeing residential, aviation, and maritime initiatives, including the build, and launch of MY Octopus and refits of MY Tatoosh and MY Meduse. Anne brings a rare combination of design intelligence, financial discipline, and operational judgment to this uniquely discerning space.
Kevin Johnson began his career as a superyacht captain, developing deep systems fluency and operational rigor through firsthand vessel operation, commissioning, and global cruising environments. He later advanced into senior leadership roles as Fleet Captain supporting technology founders and Director of Residence for venture capital principals. At Tapestry, Kevin applies lifecycle oversight, governance, and risk management experience across all classes of exceptional assets.
A former superyacht captain and engineer on sail and motor yachts up to 90 meters, Kevin brings extensive new-build and refit experience from premier Northern European yards and leading facilities worldwide. As Founder and CEO of the former Berth One Palm Beach, he led the transformation of a commercial port facility into a high-performing superyacht marina and private shipyard serving vessels up to 162 meters. He guided regulatory approvals, developed and oversaw refit and service operations, and ultimately executed the sale of the business to Safe Harbor Marinas, now owned by Blackstone.
